Infiniti Qx30 – The Infiniti QX30 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Nissan’s Infiniti Luxury brand. It is based heavily on the Q30 hatchback with modifications mainly to its ride height to market it as a crossover. Both the Q30 and QX30 are based on the first-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA and the third-generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The QX30 was produced from 2016 to mid-2019, during which the brand withdrew from Europe entirely.
The QX30 concept featured 21-inch wheels, larger tires and increased blackout around the wheel openings, a satin chrome front bumper.

Based on the Infiniti Q30, the QX30 features redesigned front and rear bumpers, grain side sills, as well as bodywork finished with satin chrome plated inserts with metallic finish along with an increased ride height. European models of the VT will go on sale in the summer of 2016. Early models featured a 2.2D AWD with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA-based Infiniti QX30 provides a worthy alternative to the sea of German luxury offerings. It’s effectively available as a hatchback in front-drive QX30 Sport guise, or as a small SUV when viewed with all-wheel drive. On our first drive we praised the QX30 for its sophisticated driving behavior and good looks, but we found the infotainment system pointless and the cargo area quite limited. A badge is a good choice for those who care more about value than prestige.
Power for the QX30 comes from a Mercedes-sourced 2.0-liter turbo-four engine with 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. There’s just one transmission: a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. In our review of the little Infiniti SUV for the show Ignition, the 2017 QX30S hit 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and was more than a second faster around the Big Willow than a Porsche 928 S4 in terms of efficiency. , front-wheel-drive QX30 models deliver a respectable 24/33 mpg city/highway, and their all-wheel-drive siblings return 21/30 mpg.

The entry-level QX30 comes standard with Pure LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, paddle shifters and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The base car makes do with manually adjustable front seats and a basic six-wheel audio system.
Automatic emergency braking is standard on all QX30 models, but other active safety features are limited to higher trim levels. Blind spot monitoring is fitted on Sport and base models, but you have to tick the box for Infiniti’s ProAssist package to get adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and intelligent park assist.
